Lee Ann Thornton’s design aesthetic was informed by having grown up living in New York City, Connecticut and Los Angeles. She seamlessly has merged the influences of one coast to the other in her original, trademark style. Her design firm was launched in Greenwich, Connecticut in 2003, and specializes in both high-end residential and commercial projects.
Lee Ann’s signature interpretative style is both warm and luxurious, while capturing the fine details and personal lifestyle of each client. Lee Ann finds inspiration in the colors and comfort of classic design and enjoys updating this aesthetic to suit contemporary individuals and families.
Her firm is enlisted in a wide array of services that include both full-scale projects and design collaboration, in addition to oversight of construction with the architect, contractors and clients. Her work has been prominently featured in many articles and publications, most recently House Beautiful and Coastal Living. Lee Ann Thornton Interiors was awarded Connecticut Cottages and Garden 2015 Innovation in Design Award for Interior Design. Lee Ann is also a board member of the DECORATOR’S CLUB an organization of professional women interior designs and industry executives in the New York Metropolitan area.
